Any help someone could provide on an issue with Vista HP would be ver
appreciated.
Keep getting APPCRASHES from all sorts of applications, ranging fro
Skype, to IE 7 and Microsoft Money. After watching these crashes fo
months, and using Process Explorer, it seems the common thread of th
crashes is that OLE32.DLL is pointed to each time. At the suggestion o
an earlier post, ran sfc /scannow, but it didn't find a problem with an
system files.
Further research at this forum and here ('The new window that you ope
in Internet Explorer displays a blank white page
(
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;902932)
discusses trying the REGSRV32 OLE32.DLL command.
Tempted to try this, but before typing in unfamiliar commands
wondering if anyone knows:
1. Is there a risk of running this command?
2. Is there a chance this might actually solve the issue?
Thanks
