OMG!!!!! Windows Firewall

Since installed service pack 2, I have been unable to disable the firewall.
It is set to off, and all of the connections are unchecked for firewall, yet
the firewall is still working. Any ideas..............

I am sorry that you are hitting this issue. However, since your copy of Windows
XP was able to reach the Windows Update website, and that Windows Update was
able to identify, download, and successuflly install the updates, this does not
seem like a Windows Update problem. Perhaps these other newsgroups e more
