One (but only one) icon in QuickLaunch changes to generic

Every so often the icon for a Usenet app for which I've placed a shortcut on
the QuickLaunch Toolbar changes to a generic program icon. There are 11 apps
currently there, and none of the other ten have this problem.

This is where I miss using TweakUI to rebuild the icon cache, but as has
been repeatedly said this isn't MS' problem.

Well, you could try TweakUI version 1.33, I hear it still works well on
Vista.

Thanks ... and Andre, that TweakUI was also helpful, but I did need to
select an alternate shortcut pointer (the REAL SMALL one)...it would not let
me use no pointer symbol, plus it changed the default pointer to the icon for
one of my local apps, making for an icon-over-icon sitch for most of my
desktop shortcuts!
