Hi Greg-
I'll let someone better versed in networking respond to your network
problem, and maybe you didn't know that there is a Vista networking group
you can post in called
microsoft.public.windowsvista.networking_sharing that you can easily
subscribe to by searching with the newsgroup icon on the Win Mail newsgroup
toolbar. You might get a fast response there.
On the notepad problem, try this:
Open up notepad>manually stretch the borders to the size that you
want>file>exit while holding down your control key after you set it to the
size you want. It also should move around unless you've perhaps
inadvertently clicked the "maximize" button at the upper right to make it
stationary.
