I did not want to but I installed the 90 day Onecare trial and noticed that
if you have an unplugged ethernet card, it can't do its update and gives you
the red icon even though you are connected to the Internet via a wireless
connection. It keeps telling you you have NO Internet service which is
nonsense. If I go into the device manager and disable the network card, it
is happy with the wireless connection and does the update.

Also everytime I boot the system it keeps telling me I am connected to a
secured network, then and unsecured network and then a secured network... I
know it can only connect via a secured router so it is providing me with
information that is not true. I have turned off this useless information it
provides and checked off the spot to keep it automatic.

After I installed it I told it to do a full scan and when I left in the
morning it was scanning a Halflife 2 demo file and when I came home in the
evening it was still scanning that file. I think some work needs to be done
on this file scanning.

When will this product be out of beta?

Al
