Dear Learned Gentlemen/Ladies,

I have been a consumer of Microsoft products since 1979. I prefer to take
'baby steps' in adopting new products. I installed WinXP MCE 2005 on one of
my PC computers as a first baby step. That experience was sufficiently
positive for me to purchase a new Vista PC. I am impressed.

The question I have relates to 'Onlight Spotlight' on WinXP MCE 2005 and its
absence on Vista MC. To see what I am talking about please visit:
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/m...spotlight.mspx

'Onlight Spotlight' is absent on my Acer copy of Vista Home Premium Media
Center (MC). I've been able to locate Vista MC compatible downloads for
TVTonic and MSNTV Today. I'd like to avoid the labor of manually locating
all the items in Onlight Spotlight. Is there some way I can download all of
Onlight Spotlight into Vista MC?

Thanks in abvance,

Ken

Thanks Mick Murphy,

From the information you provided, I conclude that Acer has removed 'Onlight
Spotlight' and replaced it with there own Media Center application. If Acer
can program Media Center, so should I.

I found this Windows Media Center Software Development Kit :

I guess I need to do my own programming.
