Only Downloading 1 Update at a Time

I reformatted my hard drive this weekend & reinstalled Windows XP Pro.

For some reason, Windows Update is only finding 1 update at a time. It
downloads, but waits for me to tell it to install. I've checked &
double-checked my settings, but still only get 1 update at a time. At this
rate, it will take forever.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

What about when you go to the Windows Update website directly?

Same problem. One update at a time. And they're all the security updates...
who knows how long it might be before I get to the service packs.

Go to www.autopatcher.com and download the latest version of AutoPatcher -
it will save you a lot of time.

Download SP-2 or order it on CD, Step 1 on this link:
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/spackins.htm

There is no need to install any other updates or Service Packs prior to
SP-2.
Then after SP-2 check Windows Update for the updates released since SP-2.
