....because Microsoft makes such junk and sells it as mimickry of Apple's
OS that people flee into Apple's lap.

Imagine what would happen if occasions, such as releasing the POS
(piece-of-sh*t) that Vista is, never occurred.

Psst: Microsoft writes most of Apple's software. Which may explain why MACs
have five times the vulnerabilities of XP & Vista.

As a guy who made the switch to i-Mac after the XP SP2 disaster (Microsoft
eventually shut me down because I had to reload the XP O/S so many times they
thought I had found a way to beat their distribution control system) let me
tell you I was never so happy to see anything as that Windows logo when I
first booted up the Vista O/S. The i-Mac a beautiful little machine, but if
you have issues with it you will be sans computer for days or weeks. I had it
for two months of which it actually functioned for less than half that time.
After one of the many trips to the shop, one of the tech guys missed
something on the reinstallation of the O/S and this little beauty sent out a
message to all my university sites and every other site where I had to use a
password that I was not the legit sender. Every site locked me out and no
amount of pleading would let me back in. This took another ten days to
repair. Don't like the way their software apps run...tough! There is nothing
you can put on the system to replace them unlike Vista where I only have 2 of
their Microsoft applications still running. With Mac, it is their way or no
way. No thanks!!

I guess it depends on what you're doing. I have a Mac and a pc and I
love them both... for what they can do. Mac = Video PC = Everything
else.

I do agree with you though.
