Insert your card in the reader and a box should pop up asking what you want
to do .
Select "open folder to view contents"
when the explorer windows opens you should see a folder containing your
pictures (this will vary slightly depending on how your camera stores the
files)
when you see all your pictures, you then have several options.
you can select just the pictures you want to download (either by thumbnail,
or by date)
or you can use cntrl+A to select them all.
now that you've selected. you can either "cut" which will remove the photos
from the card, or "copy" which will make a copy of the pictures (leaves the
original on the card.)
open your "Pictures" folder and "paste" in the pictures.
the condition of the pictures on the card all depends on if you select some
or all, and if you cut or copy them off the card.
