I have windows vista Ultimate. Should open AL be in my "add/remove"
programs? I can not find it in my programs. I suspect it came in with a TV
program that I downloaded and then got rid of. How can I find out if I can
get rid of it safely?

It is from the Creative sound card software.

I do not do ANY gaming. If it came with my sound card, shouldn't I leave it?
Sorry, I am confused.

I removed it from both my systems. Do a Google search, see what it is, then
you can decide.
