Open Driver MTC0001 fail

I recently downloaded my windows XP updates and have been getting this
message on Start up - MPB Open Driver MTC0001 fail. Does anyone know what it
is or how to get rid of it. So far it does not seem to be affecting
anything, but it is very irritating.

Specifically, which updates were installed prior to this error message
appearing ? If SP2 is installed, go to Add/Remove Programs in the
Control Panel and ensure that the " Show updates " box is checked.
Scroll down to the Windows XP - Software Updates section and look for
the date the updates were installed.
If SP2 is not installed, open the WindowsUpdate.log with Notepad.
Scroll down to the bottom for the most recent updates.
Look for a section similar to :

Report REPORT EVENT: {23B6B39E-7375-4CF8-B99E-8EE0DBCE0438} 2006-03-xx
06:57:54-0800 1 189 102 {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} 0 0
AutomaticUpdates Success Content Install Installation Ready: The
following updates are downloaded and ready for installation.

The updates downloaded/installed will be listed there.
Post back with that section ONLY, please.
