Open File Pane

How do you add a "Favorite Icon" to the left side of the Open File Pane.

Its not available in any of the links or favorites folders, I know you need
to type in an "app" line to do this, can't remember what it is???

If you mean adding a shortcut to that upper left set of links just drag and
drop it there.

Hi richard
Thanks for the reply, no the drag and drop doesnt work for this...
When you "Open File" panel on the left side if about 5 icons you can select
to open.
To add an Icon there you have to type in an "app line" to allow you to do
this..
I want to add an ICON shortcut on the left side of the Open File Panel...

Have you tried puting a shortcut to the LINKs file in your user directory
(c:\users\[your name]\links)? On my system, thats where the shortcuts those
icons represent reside.
