how to open inbox in new window

Is there anyway to make your inbox open in a new window in IE7 instead of
hijacking one already open? Tabs are turned off.

If you click the Tools menu, then Internet Options, then Advanced, you'll find a:
'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts (when tabbed browsing is off)' option.

Note: I've not tested this (I'm sick and in a tad rush today).

I have that unticked. It seems to work with IE but not Live Messenger. When
I click on "email inbox" it hijacks an open window to go to hotmail and then
opens a new window with an error message: "you need to enter a password" or
something.
