opening 2 web sites at once

I used to be able to open two web sites at once, from my desktop, by clicking
on one icon, then clicking on another, before first one loaded.
Hence, two web sites, in two different windows.
Now I can't do that, as second one opens over top the first, in same window.
Anyone know, what I might have done to change this, and how can I change it
back to the way I had it.

Have you installed (inadvertently or otherwise)
the Yahoo Companion toolbar? If so, remove it.

Make sure also that
Reuse windows for launching shortcuts
(Options, Advanced tab, Browser section)
is *unchecked*.


BTW this question is off-topic for this newsgroup.
It would have been more appropriately asked in an IE6 newsgroup
or in a General Discussion newsgroup for your OS.
