Opening of beta a mistake?

Now they are saying that the opening of the beta was a mistake!
lol... its just one catastophy after another...

It was just a server glitch. They have kind of opened it up to the
public, in that you no longer need to find someone with an invite, you
can just go to
http://ideas.live.com/signup.aspx?ve...0-c6313f7ebb73
and accept the terms and that's it, your activated straight away.
