Opening a chat window in messenger & keep getting a scrolling mess

When i open a chat window i am unable to chat because i keep getting a
scolling message regarding MSN Blocker. How can i stop this happening ? I
even opened a new account and it happened again

ever time i open it , it goes crazy ...so if it is i virus i dont want to
pass it to my friends

johnathan, it looks like a scrolling error ... but my scroll lock is not on
.... i can stop it by pressing control key but i cant type a message

i have even delted messenger & re - installed but every time i open a chat
window i cant speak or type ... i olny get a recurring message . just like i
am typing it my froends will not open a wondow just incase i give thenm a
virus if that is what it is
