Hi all,

i am trying to open a file "Thumbs.db" that originated in a Win X
system and when i try to open it is says
YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO OPEN A FILE OF TYPE 'DATA BASE FILE' (.DB

It has picture (probably .jpg) files in it.

Can anyone suggest ways to open this file in a *Windows Vista *system

That's an index file only. It won't have any pictures in it. Look at the
size of the file.

Yes Gordon,
There were thumbnails of the (accidentally deleted) pictures containe
in a folder on the Win XP based machine and all i wanted is to view th
thumbnails and see which files actually went missing.

The ThumbViewer tool helped me get what i want
