I have Windows Vista Home. Well I also have the Sims 2 installed on my
computer. Well I was on a site to download things for the game and after it
was done downloading, I go to open it and a message comes up and says that
the requested operation requires elevation. I have no clue what that means,
but I need to know how to fix it. I've downloaded things before, then just
one day out of the blue it does this. I hope someone can help me. Thank you!!

Hello,

this usually means that you have to start a program with administrative
rights (elevated rights). To do so, right-click the program and choose "Run
as administrator".

Greetings,

Locate the applications setup.exe file or installation file and right click
on it. From the drop down menu that appears select 'Run as Administrator'
option. The installation file should then run.
