opening files

when opening a saved file it is very slow
what can i do

Wow, Not much to go on here. Assuming ALL files open slowly not just 1, and
that you are running XP.

I would start by doing a >Start>Disc Cleanup
then a complete virus scan
then a complete spyware scan
then a >Start>Disc Defragmenter
