Hi i have copied photos from my laptop xp version to a cd r and also clicked
"make compatible for other computers" as i saved it. This disc will work on
the wife's computer as well as my laptop but it will not work in our new
household pc vista version. The disc drive on vista shows the folders and
they show to be partially filled but if you click on the folders it then says
folder is empty. I know there is similiar posts in here. I have read them
and do not yet understand how to get these photos onto vista. Please advise
how in the easiest computer idiot way possible thanks

Possible solutions.

1. Email the photos from your laptop to the Vista machine.

2. Set up a home network. (You should do this anyway so that you only need
to pay for one internet account)

3."Take Ownership"
Add "Take Ownership" to right-click menu in Vista

using sonic pro and that was the disc that did not open so i tried using
sonic my dvd LE. Both of these programs came with my laptop xp version. I
made a new disc with that program and behold Vista recognized it and opens
it.Thanks for the help
