Hi,
I have a strange problem using Windows mail. (HP Pavilion running Vista
Home Premium) In one of my folders, if I click on an e-mail entry, the
wrong message opens up. It only seems to happen in one of the
folders...Inbox etc work fine.. I have approx 421 messages in the rogue
folder, and clicking on any of them, brings up one of perhaps three or
four messages.
Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

Is this folder a default folder or one that you have set up independently

Peter,
The folder is one I set up independently. I have a rule whic
identifies the incoming mail by a word in the subject, and then move
the message to my folder... I can see the subject line etc in the norma
view, but when I open it, I get a much older message, complete with it'
header info etc. I'm wondering whether the mail database need
re-indexing.. if that is possible

I have the same problem. It occurs only in sub folders - and not all of them
- and not in the main in box. It aplies to old emails in the folders, and
to emails I move to a folder. In some folders, all the messages are
corrupted in this way, in others, only a few.
