What opens in new Tab or Window

When I right-click on a link, I can opt to open the link's target in either a
new window or (in IE7) a new tab. That's very good. When I select 'New Tab'
or 'New Window' from the File menu, I get a new tab or window, respectively.
That's also good. However, the new window opens with a copy of the
last-looked-at page, while the tab opens the home page or a blank page
(depending on settings). That's inconsistent! I think that File->New Tab
should open with the same URL as File->New Window does. At least this should
be a choice in the Tabbed Browsing Settings, in addition to 'home page' and
'blank page'.

That does look interesting.

Uh oh...

"IE7pro v 0.9.5 was released on January 8, 2007"

I think I'll wait a *little* longer before trying this one out. ;-)

It's a VERY stable pgm and I have been using it since then, with no issues
in Vista/IE7. It will not, however, do what you want re: dup a current page
on a new tab. Perhaps you should ask them to add it???

There's only 2 ways I know to get a non-blank new tab. You can have a new
tab open on your home page (it's a check-box option in Internet Options) or
you can have mutiple tabs open at launch with multiple home pages (list them
all in the Home Page box in Internet Otions).

And you can make that "tab" request here:
