I am looking to create a backup of a device through Active Sync 4.5. Earlier
there was a option to take Backup/Restore in 3.X versions of Active Sync but
now there is no such option.

Is there any way to take backup through Active Sync 4.5? or what is the
other way to take backup of device?

It was removed after 4.0 I think.

I use PIM backup, set to backup to the storage card. It backs up all PIM
data and call logs and messages, but not programs. You'll have to look
for 3rd party for a full backup (if it even exists).

spbBackup does backup everything. Mine runs in the background at 2am every
night and stores backups on an SD card in the device.
