Options other than Intellisync?

I have running Intellisync for 2 years and have nothing but
problems...using different OS, versions and PPC devices.
PumaTech support and "knowledgebase" are useless!
We just upgraded to SBS2003 with hopes that MS would allow
us to sync public folders when we connected directly with
the Exchange server...no dice.

1. Why wouldn't MS include this functionallity in ActiveSync?
2. Are there any other options (besides Intellisync) that
will allow you to sync public folders...and still use
Pocket Outlook. Lookout and On Schedule make you use their
software on the PPC.
Thanks for your help.

1. It was not included as folder sync was seen as an advanced feature
that would be used by few people... rightly or wrongly.

2. Take a look at XTNDConnect PC -

t+products/pc-based+synchronization/default.htm

1) You would think that with all of us complaining about it that MS would do
something and add it in as a feature. If On-Schedule can get $80+ for their
Product, seems like MS could come up with a Pro Version of Active Sync that
would do the job...

2) I've looked at the site for XTNDConnect PC I cant seem to find anywhere
if it Sync's Public Folders or Sharepoint folders. Do you know if it does?

Thanks,

1. I agree, and the MVPs have been telling Microsoft for years to add
sub-folder sync and the like, but it has not been added yet. You won't
find any argument from me against adding sub-folder and public folder
sync.

2. I'm not sure about Sharepoint folders, but I'm pretty sure that it
does Public Folder sync. I don't use XTNDConnect and don't have public
folders, so I can't be sure.
