Order Contacts file

How do you order the contacts file by last name. I just switched to Vista
and copied my address's over and they are in random order.

Right click in the Contacts explorer and you will see a healthy list of
sorting options on the contextual menu.

Thanks but last name is not an option to sort on, only Full name as labeled
name. My wife always puts the names in first name Last name order- Bob

OK, right click on the available columns in the Contacts explorer, click
'More', under Details: scroll down and check off the 'Last name' entry and
you should see that option available in the horizontal column, click it to
sort.

Hi Bob,

Open the Contacts folder, right-click and select "sort by", click on "more",
then scroll down and put a check in "Last name".
