Order of Update Installations

Hello,

I have downloaded the entire Windows 98 Catalog for Windows Update. I am
going to be working on a fresh install of this OS. Where the computer is
located, they only have a 28k connection, and I obviously don't want to be
there till midnight! I have burnt the catalog, but have a question. Is
there a reference that tells what order to install the updates? I also know
about the -z parameter for most updates to not restart; however, could this
cause a problem with installation of 10 or more updates at one time? Thanks

To keep older files from overwriting newer ones the procedure is to install
in date order - oldest first.

Thank you for your reply. However, the problem comes here:

There are some updates that the folders are named KB article names... In
between that, however, there are just general update names with no reference
to KB and / or Date. Is there an easy way to put these in order (they were
all downloaded the same day, obviously, so no order by date is available in
folder view)
