Original Windows 98 SE Error Number 0x80072F05

I have just reinstalled Windows 98 SE and went to download all the updates.

However, when I click on "Scan for Updates" I get error number 0x80072F05.

Any ideas?

I just encountered the same error code and problem. I fixed the problem by
correcting the windows time. Then I manualy installed IE 6.0. After that
install the windows update started working agiin. Hope this helps. Here is
