You don't say what vista version you have!-
You need Ultimate to do it.

If you have a German Home Premium, upgrade it with a German Upgrade to
Ultimate, then download the English Language pack to change vista to English.

Vista Ultimate Edition allows the language to be changed once installed,
otherwise no. You'd have to reinstall in the desired language.

In the past people were reporting that this program works, but Im sure MS
does not officially support it.

To change the language of an OS you need to install the OS in the language of your
choice

If you have Vista Ultimate then you can change the language on the Toolbars and what
you see in the Window of the App that you are using only.

You are not able to change the language as an Example (Registry,Installation files,
Files in Windows Explorer , help files and etc, etc.
