Yes I know about foxit and it is also no-install or portable too..
That's what I used before acrobat 8 came out. 7 was unacceptably slow.
BUT I have seen Foxit does not render all pdfs perfectly and it does
not have a thumbnail pane.. nor does it integrate with windows explorer
so that it shows thumbnails in windows explorer. (im not talking about
internet explorer but about windows explorer). Im not saying that foxit is
not good.. its nice...
people should check it out.

One small notice though about acrobat 8.. it would be good for someone to
delete the
2 startup shortcuts it creates in the startup folder....
Too many programs what things to startup and it bogs down performance...
It should have had an option to choose if you want this or not.
