I know there must be something wrong with my computer. Why good folk like
Tiberius and others have been warning us forever about how bad Vista is.
*sobs* But Vista refuses to act up for me, why it has been running far
better than MCE 2005 ever did.. all the bluescreens and other hiccups I had
with MCE have vanished with Vista. What ever can be wrong?? Can someone tell
me??

Aren't the trolls bad enough around here without you chumming for them?
Actually, I'm having the same bizarre experience with Vista. It just seems
to work.

You and many more of us. See the "Why is my Vista Working Well?"

Your first mistake was reading any post from Tiberius!

You can imagine my headaches then with my perfectly running Vista
installations. The nerve of Microsoft to hoist onto an unsuspecting public
software that works so well, the nerve!

Probably your Vista box has yet to become as corrupted with malware as your
XP box has already. Or, your Vista box hasn't been running long enough to
experience the bitrot that comes when one runs Windoze for an extended
length of time and the Windoze registry gets bloated with crap.

Cheers.

Yea, some of us have needs that go beyond Windows Mail and Solitaire. =)

I've been running mine for 9 months so when should I expect it to corrupt?

Vista sometimes does work for those of you who only play Solitaire and
change the pretty wallpaper.
Try running some apps and get back to us.
