"SyncToy 2.1 is a free application that synchronizes files and folders
between locations. Typical uses include sharing files, such as photos, with
other computers and creating backup copies of files and folders."
Now Windows 7 compatible

Download instructions say 'extract files to a target directory'
'The order in which the MSIs need to be installed is:
Synchronization.msi, ProviderServices.msi, SyncToysetup.msi.'

Simplistic questions:
#1.Is the target directory when extracting files just for installing or
is it a directory within the Program files?

The intent is to keep data files synchronized between two Win7computers.
#2. I assume Synctoy is to be installed on the master computer versus
installed on both computers.

Hi,
1.- Just let SyncToy install in the default folder it is offering to you.
If you are running an x64 Win 7 download and use only the 64-bit version of
SyncToy.

2.- Yes
