OT: Office 2007 beta technical refresh

Wow, look out.
Said the install failed, but upon re-boot the beta was ALL hosed up,
couldn't start Outlook, Word interface really wild, then I quit.

Now I did install it over my Office 2007 beta, but under XP, thinking
that was OK,...or maybe it was only intended for RC1...?

Nope, Server 2003 and XP SP2 are supported, as is Vista RC1

(I just love "System Restore")

You might check out the extensive threads on the Office group--but MSFT has
said at meetings that problems with the Tech Beta 2 Refresh are not
representative. There have been a number of problems opening up docs in
different apps with the Tech Beta refresh but they insist they are a small
minority.
