Out Of Frequency Range - Windows won't come up.

 
 
Out of Frequency Range - update Nvidia

I just applied several windows updates and rebooted and my system won't come
up. It gave me a blue screen with the error "Out of Frequency Range". I
ended up restoring my system to before I applied the updates. Then I
selected all updates except for "Nvidia GEforce4 mx420 video" update and
re-applied. That seemed to work ok. So, there is something about the video
update that is locking up my machine when I try to apply it.
