Hi,
Activesync will synchronize the Notes that are stored in the main memory.
It cannot detect the files that are stored on your storage card. You would
need to move them to your My Document during synchronization.
Notes can be synchronized as an Outlook Note item or as Files (In
Activesync - click Tools -> Options -> Uncheck Notes and Check Files
option). If synchronized as Outlook Notes, they will appear in the Notes
section of Outlook.
Where as if synchronized as files, it will get synchronized to the My
Documents folder of your desktop. But then the Notes in Outlook will not
get synchronized to your Pocket PC. If you are Ok with the Notes
synchronizing as Files, you could consider MightySync.
If you want to synchronize the Notes into Outlook then they will need to be
in the main memory. In such a scenario, you could do the following to
maximize main memory for Notes:
1. Install the third party programs on your storage card.
2. Save the attachments of mails to your storage card.
3. Move / Store the files of other types (which are not Notes) to your
storage card and use MightySync to synchronize the files with the storage
card.
