My pc has Office XP and Windows XP. The Outlook works great until yesterday
when the system installed the last automatic updates, after that I only can
send emails through Outlook but I can't receive emails! Somebody can help me
to solve this, please?

I had same problem as well PC not shutting down cleanly and switching users.
To get around it I wen tback to XP System Checkpoint and recovered the system
files prior to the software update. Everything working OK now and just
waiting to see what the fix is as a few people seem to be having this issue...

And you fixed it by disabling NAV's scanning of email.

I am having same problem. I restored b/c of outlook not accepting incoming
mail and slow shutdown. However I redownloaded the "critical" security
updates and now have the same problem. I know I can restore again but does
anyone know how to fix the problem so I can keep the updates and not have
slow shutdown and Outlook issues? Thanks.
