Hi,
The 80****** errors generally are Microsoft Outlook based errors. The error
code might be occuring due to a corrupt .PST file. If you are having
difficulties synchronizing your data when it worked properly in the past,
try the following:
Search for a program called scanpst.exe. This is a small utility included
with Microsoft Outlook which will scan your *.pst file (the file that
contains your personal information) for possible corruption and attempt to
repair it. Usually the location of the file are as follows:
* Windows XP, NT and 2000:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT\scanpst.exe
* Windows 95, 98, and Me:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\95\scanpst.exe
Note: C: might need to be replaced with the appropirate <drive letter>.
In addition, in Outlook there is a feature on the Help Menu called Detect
and Repair... This will scan your information for possible defects and also
attempt to repair the data.
After performing the above actions, try syncing again and see if this helps
overcome the problem !! If not, are you using any Add-in with Outlook ??
