I have downloaded Outlook Express 8 from website and RUN as spedified.
Cannot open Outlook Express now on my PC? What is wrong?

The product you downloaded doesn't exist...
Other than that - I am unsure.

What did you actually download?

Is it possible that it does exist? Have a look at the following web site.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Int...r/default.aspx

Sure, Internet Explorer 8 exists, but not Outlook Express 8. The last
version is 6 that came with IE6, and there will be no more.

Ummm... something tells me that 'website' is one of those file sharing
sites. That's where you see all kinds of weird software versions. If you
really downloaded Outlook Express 8 (instead of Internet Explorer 8) you may
have picked up bad stuff (ie. malware). That's why you got a problem.

Guess.
Microsoft has been pushing Windows Live Mail. Did you download that program
in addition to IE8? Windows Live Mail will replace any version of Outlook
Express you had. You may want to check your program listing.
