Outlook Express after installing XP

I compacted my OE folders, found them and loaded the .dbx files onto a cd.
Windows XP was then installed. Was Windows ME.
When I try to import the folders via the wizard it asked for the location,
browse to D drive, but says no messages can be found in this folder. If I
run Windows Explorer it shows the files on the disc. Why does OE not
recognising these files? Help required.

Did you copy folders.dbx and have you removed the read only from each file?
