I have now got windows update working and downloaded SP2 (thanks Jupiter
Jones for your help), however, windows update has changed my default email
from outlook express ot Outlook. Is there any way I can prevent this
happening?

Any help would be gratefully received

Installing OL updates changes the default mail handler from OE to OL

Set the default email client on a per-user basis - Windows XP:

Myeika, sorry I took to long in replying. These are the tips given to me

-- Jacqui;
Do you have Service Pack 2 installed?
To check:
Right click My Computer
Click Properties.
Does it say "Service Pack 2" on the last line under "System"?

If not install SP-2:
