Outlook express prompts me for a password for new identity after n

I have the same problem. I just keep clicking the close
button to get rid of it. I have a Dell with Win ME. I've
had lots of problems with ME. The last time Dell said to
reinstall ME. I did, after that this problem came up. So, I
live with it. In addition, I had a promt from MS to
upgrade. I did. It also upgraded to Outlook Express 6.0.
But, now I access and receive but can't send e-mails. I'm
looking for help to able to send mail out.

Good luck to all of you. I get the same stupid password prompt time and time
again, it is annoying. I hate all Microsoft products-you are stuck with their
applications and there is no one to solve them..

If you have an Outlook issue, you need to post in the Outlook newsgroups.
Windows update is not related to your problem.

But, since you are a self-admitted "A Dummie", it's doubtful you are capable
of finding help, and just prefer to rant.
