I cannot determine the problem with Outlook Express. I cannot delete
messages. It is indicating there is some sort of problem but does not
indicate what that problem is. A couple of times it said that express was
not loaded properly (?). I had been functional for several years but now I
am having this concern. Nees some assistance. I am not well versed in
computors but can follow directions, if simple.

try to copy the exact error messages. often googling the message will give you fixes to try.

example:

err msg may say
"xyz.exe failed to create blahblah.bah file. try the command again or hit yourself on the toe
with a large boulder."

first try googling that exact msg. if goo gives no good info, then break out the more generic
parts of the err msg:
xyz.exe blahblah.bah "failed to create" file "try the command again" "hit yourself on the toe
with a large boulder."

if still no good info, try varying like this:
xyz.exe | blahblah.bah "failed to create" file "try the command again" "hit yourself on the
toe with a large boulder."
