outlook keeps configuring

Every time I open outlook it goes to confifuring and half way through say an
install is in progress , config runs then says I have to reboot, which I do
the next time I open outlook it runs through the same proccess.

What has gone wrong I upgraded to office 2007 from 2003.

Have you used Windows Update (with Ultimate Extras) to update Office 2007
first?

Drew,

all update have been installed.
For time being I have reverted to OL2003.

Will try again when I do a clean install as I am also having a few niggles
with this install of Vista.
