Outlook malfunction after 20081015 Security Updates

After down-loading and installing KB956803, KB957095, KB956841, KB956391 and
KB954211 all Outlook mail ceased transmitting. Detect and Repair was
performed on Outlook, which worked perfectly well prior to the downloading of
the above-referenced security updates and it is still providing me 0x80040900
error.
