Outlook problems

I did a microsoft download update and when it installed, my outlook version
changed and I'm not able to access my old emails and files from the older
version. I'd like to know how to revert back or have the new version load my
old version emails and files. I tried to import, but the import selection was
not populated and therefore couldn't use it. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

Were you using Outlook Express or Outlook as your Email client?

If you were using OE as your email client and did some Office updates, then
perhaps the default email client was changed to *Outlook*.


Open Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options, then Programs.

If Microsoft Office Outlook is the default change it to Outlook Express or
vice versa depending upon your choice of email client.
