Dont be a positive negative (vista fanboy)- seemingly positive, but in
reality supporting negative things.

Just accept the truth as it is.

I'd like some details on that "truth" since the article gives none. The
word "unsatisfied" can mean many things. 66% are apparently "satisfied,"
which is better than you can say for most Presidents. A lot of people don't
really know what they're doing anyhow. Are they qualified to judge it?

I don't consider Vista light years above XP, but who says that's even
possible? The notion that things can be progressively more complex, yet
simpler for the user seems like a pipe dream. At least Vista hasn't crashed
on me yet. I don't know if that's Vista or my new dual-core machine.

I set Vista to Windows Classic mode; favoring performance over the slick
Aero interface. I like the new built-in software like speech recognition,
Media Center, etc.. I'd call Vista a 20% improvement over XP for personal
use.

So.
That survey doesn't encompass the population at large, but "members" of
Changewave Research (whom are compensated for their time).

i know that we are on a windows/microsoft website
if every one has knowticed,,theres all of these people on here
hovering over and monitoring our post and what we say

they jump on our post and us and do damage control..for vista
big brother/bill gates
has all these,,peons..watching over us,,for some reason

they attack what you say,,they tell you that you are wrong,,even if you are
dead right
they call you names and they let others..call you four letter words of all
kinds..do you know any other big site like this..that suposally has
rules..leting this go on day after day..doing nothing about any of it..

any other site,,these..people cussing us and useing the four letter
words..would of been banned by now..but not on this microsoft site..they are
going strong

i think it should not be a problem.to post negitive or positive post..,,if
they dont get much positive..thats bill gates fault..should of built a better
os..

You exaggerate for unknown reasons; nobody ever said MS sold billions of
copies.

MS says they've sold 55 million.

Somebody said "billion(s)" of copies of Vista were in use.

Those two statements are not in conflict when you consider China.
