Overriding Group Policy settings to run Windows Update

What are the registry keys and their settings required to run Windows Update
locally.

Our AD GPOs prevent running it, but I need to get the latest patches
installed on my computer. I've run the updates through the Baseline
Security Analyzer, but that's a tedious manual process.

I know that the GPOs will periodically overwrite the changes I make, but
I'll just script overwriting them.

thanks, and happy new year everyone!

To install items from Windows Update, you must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure. CaptainJack Windows Update 2 04-15-2004 01:11 PM
