Packs in 8.1

Hey, does anyone know why you can't get theme packs in 8.1?

Oh and another thing, what's the deal with the email notifier in the main
window? For me, because I use Mail desktop beta, it doesn't seem to combine
with messenger, like it did in 8.0. By that, I mean it doesn't check my email
for me, and no number of emails show up beside the icon.

Greetings,

You still can, there's just no button. Just open a conversation, click the Backgrounds
button, then choose the More link and when the background page opens, just scroll to the
right and click the Packs tab there.
