Page / Screen jumping

I have re-installed Vista. now, my page jumps violently and th
scrollbar moves up and down

I have a laptop and am only using a touchpad

Can anyone help please

Do you mean inside your browser? or, inside Windows Explorer?

Did you install all the drivers for your laptop? If not, that's your next
step. Get them only from the laptop mftr.'s website for your specific model
machine.
