Parental Controls and printer problem

After I have set up Parental contols and log in as my daughter to test it, I
get error messages about my printer programme not be able to find certain
files. I have even gone so far as to allow her access to my printer
programme, which is sort of defeating the object of parental controls but
these errors still pop up.
Also is it possible to set her home page as a kids site, like Nick Jnr and
not have it affect my home page?
