Password Dilemma with SCHTASKS

I want to schedule a task on a remote server using schtasks. If I enter the
password interactively on the command line, there is always a chance I will
enter it incorrectly, since no validation takes place at that time. I will
only know it was incorrect when the scheduled task fails.

OTOH, if I store the password in the script, there is the potential of
having the password exposed.

Is there another alternative to the two scenarios?

Thanks very much.
